Award-nominated Irish singer-songwriter Darren A. Flynn brings his vibrant blend of Americana, folk, country and rock’n’roll to Smagløs this summer.
Hailing from Dublin, Flynn’s music ranges from introspective folk storytelling to energetic, full-band rock influences. His sound has been described as “compelling” by the Irish Times and praised for its “great bustling, rousing energy” by the Irish Mirror.
His latest single, “Big Blue Moon”, is available now on all streaming platforms and draws inspiration from both modern folk-rock and classic country and bluegrass traditions. Influences include Flying Burrito Brothers, The Dillards and the Byrds’ Sweetheart of the Rodeo era, creating an uplifting and melodic sound reminiscent of Mumford & Sons, The Lumineers and The National Parks.
