AGANJÚ live at Café Smagløs – A journey through Brazilian rhythms and electronic soundscapes

On January 25 from 14:00–16:00, Café Smagløs in Aarhus welcomes AGANJÚ, a Brazilian electro music duo known for their powerful fusion of traditional Latin American roots and contemporary electronic music.

AGANJÚ blends original compositions with electronic reinterpretations of popular Brazilian songs, weaving together ancestral chants from the Amazon, traditional Brazilian rhythms, and modern electronic textures. The result is an immersive and energetic sound that bridges past and present, ritual and dancefloor.

The project was born in 2010 in Patagonia, Argentina, the homeland of its members, and has since developed a distinctive artistic identity. Over the years, AGANJÚ has shared the stage with acclaimed artists from Argentina and Brazil, including Aca Seca Trío, Mariana Baraj, Luis Salinas, Carlos Aguirre, and Marta Gómez.

Their international presence includes a tour of Japan in 2020, with concerts in Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto, introducing their Latin American–electronic universe to new audiences across the globe.

Now based in Denmark, AGANJÚ has become a recognized name on the Scandinavian scene, with recent performances at events such as the Latin America Festival and the Aarhus Jazz Festival. In February 2026, the duo will return to Patagonia for a tour that reconnects the project with its southern roots.

At Café Smagløs, audiences can expect an intimate yet vibrant concert experience—rich in rhythm, atmosphere, and musical storytelling—where tradition and innovation meet.
